Welcome to 2011!

Time really does fly when you are having fun. Holidays are so fun and so busy and so rushed. However, it is now time to get down to business. We have a long stretch of school before any major breaks and we need to take advantage of this learning period. Please make sure your child is at school everyday, on time, and ready to learn.
Over the next nine weeks, we will work on informational reading and writing, measurement, shapes, bigger numbers, water, magnets, inventors, and community helpers, just to name a few. Our days are really busy.
Our next celebration will be on the 100th day of school. I am not sure of the exact date yet due to any inclement weather in the future, but I will let you know ASAP.
I do know we will celebrate Valentine's Day on Monday, Feb. 14. More info will follow.

2010-2011

Welcome to the First Grade!

I am so excited to meet all my new students and their parents. I hope to see all my students on Thursday, August 12th, from 6:oo-8:00 for our open house. During this time, you will have the opportunity to let your child become familiar with our classroom location and to meet me, Mrs. Epperson.
